Introduction
The British Naturopathic Association is the professional body for practicing naturopaths who are registered with the General Council and Register of Naturopaths in the UK.
Originally established in 1945, it supports member practitioners by providing a forum for discussion at an annual conference (see "Future events" page). It also publishes the four-monthly British Naturopathic Journal (see sample article) .
The BNA stimulates public interest in Naturopathy by organising an annual Public Meeting. It provides continuing professional development for practitioners with an annual Study Day.
The BNA also has a naturopathic student membership which is open to anyone studying a naturopathic course accredited by the GCRN.
Members of the BNA qualify for medical malpractice insurance cover organised by the association's insurance brokers.
